FoxyVPN - Mac OS X OpenVPN (Tunnelblick) Configuration Tutorial

Setting up your VPN is easy. Simply follow the steps below.

1) Open your FoxyVPN Dashboard and in the rightmost panel click "Switch to OpenVPN". Select OpenVPN in the popup and then click "Change Type".

2) Now that your Dashboard is set to OpenVPN click the yellow "Download Config" button. Don't do anything with it just yet.

3) Visit the Tunnelblick website and download the latest Tunnelblick software (Latest stable release).

4) Once downloaded doubleclick the installer, and then doubleclick the tunnelblick icon in the new window to install.

5) Select "Launch" once tunnelblick is completed.

6) In the following window select "I have configuration files".

7) In the following window select "OpenVPN Configuration(s)".

8) Finally, select "Open Private Configurations Folder" in the next window.

9) Leave the window that popped open up and open a new finder window.

10) In the new finder window navigate to your downloads folder. Now, drag the .ovpn configuration file from the downloads folder to the Tunnelblick private configurations folder. Once completed you can close all the open windows.

11) After the install there is a picture of a tunnel in the upper right corner of the screen. Click it and select "Connect VPN#"

12) Now enter your login username and password (same password as your dashboard).

13) You can now choose to save it in your keychain for later use by checking the "Save in Keychain" box and then clicking "OK".

14) You will then connect to your VPN and gthe tunnel icon will light up, showing that you are connected.

Your connection is now ready to use!
